Application Tips
- Start early. Use the application guide to compile all the necessary data, information and responses before applying via the online tool. The application process can be time-intensive, and we recommend that applicants submit their application well in advance of the deadline (November 15, 2024).
- Read and answer carefully. To obtain maximum points, answer the questions completely and provide details that demonstrate the high standards of excellence in your company’s health and well-being approach that will make your company stand out. Many applicants lose points by not providing sufficient details or by providing an answer that does not directly align with the question asked. Use the word counts as a guide.
- Showcase your company’s unique health and well-being value proposition. Take advantage of the available word counts to highlight where your company goes above and beyond and stands out as a leader among other large employers. When asked to share one practice, describe it in detail rather than listing multiple practices or benefits. Avoid repeating the same programs and benefits in response to open-ended questions across each section.
- Get the right teams involved. Work across your internal teams and departments to make sure you are adequately prepared to submit an award-winning application.
- Ask a colleague to review. Having a colleague who is not as familiar with your program review the application to ensure the answers provided are clear and comprehensive can be helpful.
Note: Non-members of the Business Group must pay the $1,500 application fee to apply.
